Marco, Michael, Jen, and myself have struck out on a path to start a new non-profit organization called Phoenix Tool Shed. This organization will be a tool lending library for phoenix residents (think library, with racks of tools instead of books). Our efforts have been noticed by The Center for a New American Dream who have chosen us to participate in their Get2Gether Neighborhood Challenge where they’re going to match dollar for dollar any donations we raise. We’re already well on our way to our goal and we’re asking you to join us in this journey to opening the doors to Phoenix’s first tool lending library. Go here to donate:
This isn’t a scam, if I haven’t talked to you about this yet, it’s just because I didn’t know when we would put our feet on the ground and start running. I didn’t want to ask for your support before we were ready. If you want to talk more in depth about what we’re doing, let me know. I’d love to discuss the Tool Shed and your possible role in it 😉
P.S. Anyone who donates $25 or more will have their name on a plaque that hangs in Phoenix Tool Shed once we open the doors. You know you want your name on the plaque, right? But even if $25 is too much, we appreciate every dollar and will also need some volunteers to help out too.
